Rule Change: 22.2.5 - Religious Observance

The WIAA Executive Board voted last week to amend rule 22.2.5 in the WIAA handbook regarding postseason events. The change to this policy, which can be read in full below, will go into effect immediately.

Rule Change 22.2.5: By entering participants in postseason competition, each member certifies that, barring injury, illness, religious observance or unforeseen events, the team or individuals representing the school will participate in every level of competition through the completion of the state championship.
