“The WIAA is saddened by the news that Tri-Cities Prep Athletic Director, Ray Whitlow, passed away.  Ray shaped and developed many student-athletes with his generosity and leadership and served many roles including District 9 Eligibility Chairman and President.  He was a true servant leader.  Ray was traveling to Renton for the Winter Coalition to receive the Gareth Giles Award, which recognizes individuals who, by service to the ideals and purposes of the WIAA, exemplify leadership and dedication to students and members schools. Our thoughts and condolences are with Ray’s family.”
