WIAA/WSSAAA AD Toolbox

The Washington Secondary School Athletic Administrators Association (WSSAAA) and the WIAA have teamed up to support new athletic directors by providing the information and mentorship they need to be successful.

Information related to mentorship resources can be found on the
WIAA/WSSAA AD Toolbox website.

The mentorship resources include a series of webinars, podcasts, and other valuable documents that help all ADs acclimate to the rigors of their jobs each respective season. All ADs have the ability to add resources to the toolbox as it continues to be a "resource in progress."

Each WIAA district has a mentor who will be responsible for helping all new ADs in their respective districts. Those mentors are listed below.  WSSAAA and WIAA hope to assist you in making your first year a successful and memorable one. Please let us know how we can further assist you as the year progresses.

The State Athletic Directors' Conference will be April 21-25 at Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. Go to
wssaaa.com to register for the Conference and join the Association, which gives you a discount to the Sate Conference, $1,000,000 of liability protection, entry into all state tournaments, and a $5,000 AD&D policy.

If you are interested in NIAAA National Certification Program (which you are encouraged to pursue at some point) you can
learn more here.  If you have any questions about certification please reach out to either of the following LTI Co-Coordinators:

Erik Titus, WSSAAA President
Cole Kanyer, WSSAAA Conference Chair

Please feel free to reach out to Dave Tikker, WSSAAA Executive Director, at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
