Event: 2023 Girls Bowling State Championships
Location: Bowlero (Tukwila)
Date: February 1-4, 2023

THANK YOU for your support of this WIAA/Gesa Credit Union State Championship event. The following information is provided in order to make the experience more enjoyable for you and everyone at the event.

FAN SEATING 
Limited bleacher seating will be available. Lawn chairs are allowed.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK ALLOWED. Concessions are available, as is the option to leave and re-enter (a lunch break will be provided).

TICKETS
WIAA State Tournament tickets are be available for purchase online through GoFan HERE. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance of the event, but will have the ability to purchase digital tickets onsite by accessing the GoFan digital ticketing site using their mobile devices. SERVICE FEES APPLY. Valid ASB card required for student price. Entry will open one at 8:00am each day of the event.
  
WIAA TOURNAMENT CREDENTIALS
All individuals on the School Roster or Pass List must enter through the Pass Gate (north side of the facility)Anyone attempting to enter with a fraudulent pass will be denied entry and may be subject to criminal trespass arrest. Anyone found with a fraudulent pass inside the facility will be removed and will be subject to criminal trespass arrest.
 
SUPERVISORS
The school principal will appoint at least one school personnel member to supervise the school’s student body rooting section.

SPORTSMANSHIP
All participants as well as spectators are expected to demonstrate sportsmanship and respect toward opponents and tournament officials at all times. Sportsmanship medals may be awarded at the discretion of the tournament staff. Spectators who demonstrate inappropriate conduct or actions may be removed from the facility. 
WIAA state events are meant to provide a safe environment where everyone feels respected. Tournament managers and WIAA event personnel have the authority to remove individuals for inappropriate behavior or comments.
 
BALLOONS, SILLY STRING, AND ARTIFICIAL NOISEMAKERS are prohibited and will be confiscated. Band instruments are to be used only for playing music under the direction of the conductor and cheerleaders only may use megaphones.
 
CHEERS
Only school district accepted cheers may be used at appropriate times. Cheers and chants are to be directed only toward the school’s team. Cheers or yells with degrading opponent implications and profanity will not be allowed. In addition, cheers intended to distract the opponent will not be allowed.
 
CLEAN-UP
If outside paraphernalia is brought into the facility, schools may be billed for any additional clean-up costs.
 
FACE PAINTING
Face painting may be allowed depending upon local school district policies and the tournament site/facility.

MASCOTS
Only a student costumed mascot, designated by the principal, is permissible.

SIGNS
Tournament sponsors, broadcast media coverage, official school banners and hand held signs that are positive and directed only toward the school’s team are permitted. Run through signs are not permitted.

STANDING POLICY
Standing for prolonged lengths of time may be permissible at WIAA-sponsored athletic events, depending upon the tournament site/facility.




Souvenir programs will be available for purchase with a credit/debit card throughout the tournament.
 
Team and action photography will be available from Northwest Sports Photography. and State Tournament merchandise and apparel will be on sale throughout the tournament and online through Rush Team Apparel.

Merchandise will be available for pick up at the Rush Team Apparel pre-order booth. Additional items will be available onsite.
