FACILITY INFORMATION The schedule and draws will be posted on the Mat Classic Tournament Central page when available.
FAN SEATING The Tacoma Dome will have bleachers on each side of the venue for spectator viewing.
TACOMA DOME INFORMATION - Check the Tacoma Dome website at (https://tacomadome.org/) for a map of the facility and parking lots. The public entrance is at the upper A or upper C concourses on the north and south sides of the Dome. With several concession options (All Cashless), no outside food may be brought into the facility. The Tacoma Dome prohibits cans, bottles, containers, coolers, food and beverages from being brought into the Tacoma Dome. All bags are subject to search upon entry. Prohibited items should be disposed of in trash containers or returned to one’s vehicle. For specific event information, please call the Tacoma Dome office at (253) 272-3663.
BAG RESTRICTIONS The Tacoma Dome has a clear bag policy, please click HERE for more information. Bags, including handbags/purses, may not be larger than 12"x6"x12”. Backpacks are prohibited and all bags, regardless of size, are subject to search. All fans will be wanded.

PARKING Parking lots E and K are for our guests with disabilities and are van accessible. These lots are sold on a first come, first served basis. Vehicles utilizing accessible parking lots must display appropriate placard, tabs, or license plates. All Tacoma Dome lots are wheelchair accessible. The parking fee for Tacoma Dome parking lots varies from $10-$30 per parking space depending on the event.
Parking is limited and guests are encouraged to use public transportation and rideshare programs. See map HERE.
TICKET PRICES Ticket windows will open one hour prior to the first match time of the day. WIAA TOURNAMENT CREDENTIALS All spectators using WIAA passes (paper or plastic) to attend the event must enter through the Pass Gate. This includes: teams, event staff, media, corporate partners, and awards presenters. Anyone attempting to enter with a fraudulent event pass will be denied entry and may be subject to criminal trespass arrest. Anyone found with a fraudulent pass inside the facility will be removed and will be subject to criminal trespass arrest.
SUPERVISORS The school principal will appoint at least one school personnel member to supervise the school’s student section.
The WIAA supports social justice, racial equity, and sportsmanship. Derogatory cheers, slurs, & hateful comments relating to identity (race, ethnicity, gender expression, disability, religion) are not permitted and will result in immediate removal. Tournament managers and WIAA event personnel have the authority to remove individuals for inappropriate behavior or comments. If you witness any of the above behavior from those in attendance, you can report the incident to the WIAA via the Bias Reporting Form. BALLOONS, SILLY STRING, AND ARTIFICIAL NOISEMAKERS are prohibited and will be confiscated. Band instruments are to be used only for playing music under the direction of the conductor and cheerleaders only may use megaphones. CHEERS Only school district accepted cheers may be used at appropriate times. Cheers and chants are to be directed only toward the school’s team. Cheers or yells with degrading opponent implications and profanity will not be allowed. CLEAN-UP If outside paraphernalia is brought into the facility, schools may be billed for any additional clean-up costs. DRONES/"UAV" POLICY The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (“UAV”), also known as drones, is prohibited for any purpose by any persons at WIAA tournament venues. Tournament management shall refuse admission or entry to anyone attempting to use a UAV; and if necessary, tournament management shall remove anyone attempting to use a UAV and/or confiscate the UAV until the event has been completed. For purposes of this policy, a UAV is any aircraft without a human pilot aboard the device. An exception to this policy may be made in specific cases for WIAA broadcast partners, provided the management of the tournament facility permits the presence of UAVs for broadcast purposes under the control of the WIAA.
FACE PAINTING Face painting may be allowed depending upon local school district policies and the tournament site/facility.
MASCOTS Only a student costumed mascot, designated by the principal, is permissible.
SIGNS Tournament sponsors, broadcast media coverage, official school banners and hand held signs that are positive and directed only toward the school’s team are permitted. Run through signs are not permitted.
STANDING POLICY Standing for prolonged lengths of time may be permissible at WIAA-sponsored athletic events, depending upon the tournament site/facility.
Souvenir programs will be available for purchase with a credit/debit card throughout the tournament. Team and action photography will be available from Northwest Sports Photography. and State Tournament merchandise and apparel will be on sale throughout the tournament and online through Rush Team Apparel.
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP APPAREL PRE-SALE Rush Team Apparel will offer online pre-ordering for Wrestling Friday, February 10th at 12pm through Tuesday, February 14th at 10:00am via the link below.
Merchandise will be available for pick up at the Rush Team Apparel pre-order booth. Additional items will be available onsite. |
